We’re searching for a strategic Ecommerce Analyst to join our growing team!
Your core goal? Assisting the Chief Information Officer in managing various projects that focus on site updates/improvements with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

We are currently expanding our product range and going global! Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced eCommerce Data Analyst to join our team.

About the role:

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you'll focus on maintaining, creating, updating and generally managing the data and systems responsible for the optimal operation of the website to drive onsite conversion and a seamless customer journey. This role is perfect for a technically strong team player with high attention to detail, and the ability to think outside the box to search for the best solutions. The tasks required will be many and varied in nature, with no two days being the same.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the CIO by completing all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Investigating, updating and testing updates made to the site to achieve the objectives of the project.
• Exporting, manipulating and updating data before re-importing and testing import results.
• Working with outsourced data teams to update data templates and process documents to reflect new changes made.
• Understanding the requirements of integrated applications, such as Preezie and Algolia in relation to data.
• Maintaining and creating FTP feeds for things such as Google Shopping and Pinterest.
• Work across multiple platforms such as Maropost Commerce Cloud, Shopify and InkCloud 9.


To be successful:

• 2+ years experience in an e-commerce role within the consumer goods industry.
• Hold a high-level understanding of e-commerce best practices.
• Proficient in the back end of e-commerce platforms, experience with Maropost Commerce Cloud (formerly Neto) and Shopify is an added bonus.
• High-level proficiency in Excel, including the use of macros. The ability to create macros will be highly regarded.
• Proficient in the use of Dropbox, Google Cloud Buckets and Amazon S3 Buckets for management of data storage will be considered advantageous.
• Some HTML and/or scripting experience will be highly regarded.
• Highly organised and self-motivated, a willingness to take initiative and embrace new challenges with an action-oriented approach.
• You will need to be highly organised with an analytical mind and an appreciation for data.
• You will require your own computer, a reliable, stable and fast internet connection.
• Your own copy of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel.
