Virtual Accounts Receivable and Payable Officer

We are a QSR chain in Australia operating 50 stores and are the market leader in the dessert category. We employ 1000+ people across our Support Office, Warehouse, and Stores and are super proud of our culture!

San Churro stores are mostly franchised and run by people passionate about our brand. Our Franchise Partners are our number one customer and a close working relationship with the stores is paramount to our success as a ---------- the role, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
- Reporting to Financial Controller based in Melbourne
- Enter supplier invoices into the accounting system
- Process payments weekly
- Maintain supplier ledgers and reconcile account balances
- Assist in preparation and reconciliation of international supplier accounts
- Issue weekly and monthly invoices to customers
- Maintain customer ledgers and follow up on outstanding debts
- Review and process staff credit card claims
- Assist the team in other accounting duties and month end reporting

Requirements:
- Able to work Melbourne AU time zone and have consistent, strong internet / communications for remote work
- Business / Accounting degree or equivalent
- Have previous experience working for Australian businesses with awareness of accounting standards and laws
- Able to work full time and can commence work early July
- Detail oriented
- Self starter
- Tech savvy
- Full training will be provided.


This will be a full time ---------- will be performed remotely in an Australian Eastern Standard Time time zone. Our office hours are 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday. We can provide some flexibility as required, but you will be online mostly during these hours.

We will provide training in our systems to the successful candidate.
