Graphic Design Intern

Who Are We?
Nordic Quality is an extremely awesome, up-and-coming, online-based company selling physical products under several of our own brands. The main one of which is in the gym and fitness category.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a graphic design INTERN, who is awesome like us, to join the team. He/she must have the following:

-Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals.
-Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design applications
-Basic knowledge of InDesign (an advantage but not required)
-Strong creative and analytical skills
-Compelling portfolio of graphic design work
-Excellent computer knowledge of both MAC and PC environments
-Writing and proofing skills are also required. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and administrative skills
-Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
-Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration

He/ She must also have the following:
-Stable Internet connection (Having a backup is a plus!)
-A reliable laptop (Having a backup is a plus!)
-Headphones/earphones

What would the tasks be?

-Create and design digital materials
-Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to the deadline
-Retouch and manipulate images
-Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media
-Collaborate with the Lead Graphic Designer and Development Engineer to develop design concepts
-Receive feedback from the Operations Department and make necessary changes
-Prepare images to coi ---------- with social and blog posts
