QBO Bookkeeper for US-clients

All About Accounting is looking to grow our bookkeeping team!

Start date: ASAP
Pay: Php 50,000/month (any transfer fees paid by All About Accounting)
Hours: 8am - 4pm EST Monday - Friday
Internet Speed: 10 Mbps Upload and 100 Mbs Download

The bookkeeper will manage the accounting and finance needs of multiple clients in a fully cloud-based and paperless environment. They will work within our niche of Teachers Pay Teachers Sellers and will be regularly communicating internally to ensure they have pristinely clean books ready for tax time. Our tech stack is fairly diverse so it’s crucial to love technology and feel comfortable using a variety of different tools in your day-to-day.

You must be QBO certified and pass our application process which includes the following:

1. Submit your resume and QBO certificate
2. Answer basic questions like confirming the amount of pay, hours worked, etc. There will be a question asking about goats...the correct answer is Cashmere Goat. You will not be able to move on or reapply if you get this wrong. Strong attention to detail and following instructions are very important to us.
3. Typing test (need at least 55 wpm)
4. Bookkeeping Quiz (15 multiple choice questions)
5. Short answer questions (so much easier than answering them in a face-to-face interview!)
6. Rate your familiarity with a list of apps. There are no wrong answers here.
7. Written communication test. You'll be given 3 scenarios and need to draft emails for each. Hint: bullet points are your friend!

All the above is at your own pace, then...

8. 15-minute zoo ---------- eting to confirm basic information and answer any questions.
9. Paid Test! You will work on a test client directly in QBO and perform the monthly bookkeeping. There is a 2-hour time cap and you will be paid a flat $10 USD via Paypal after submission.
