This job is working with the Account Management team of a North American wholesale distribution company offering a high-touch, concierge-like experience to our customers while maintaining our excellent vendor and supplier relationships.
The main goal is to process customer requests quickly and accurately, including quotes, orders, shipping, and export documents.

There are multiple cloud-based platforms (Slack, CRM, Google Sheets) used in the daily work environment - so a strong and stable internet connection is required.
You must be able to write well in English.
The work is to be performed daily from Monday to Friday, in North American time zone (Pacific). There are four main types of communication all with the goal to get sales deals won.
Those four types of communication are:
1. Initial RFQ (Request for Quote) replies (chat,
2. Processing the Order when the Quote has been accepted by the customer
3. Ongoing follow-ups with leads that have been provided a quote, but have not replied, and
4. Continued “Engagement” with existing customers (via
There are also some basic note-taking requirements in the CRM software, management of daily tracking documents, and follow-ups with reminders that you will set for yourself (based on a set of guidelines that will be provided).
All training will be provided by recorded video as we go. You will be able to watch those videos as many times as you need to feel comfortable.
You will be engaging with people typically as their first point of contact with the company. So, a high level of care and professionalism is required in all communications.
Ongoing Responsibilities:
-Keep CRM/tracking document(s) updated with deals won/lost stats
-Coordinating with your team on internal growth & marketing strategies
DAILY Responsibilities:
-Engage with those who request quotes
-Engage with those who require customer assistance on orders, including payments, shipping & tracking
-Engage with those who received a previous quote, but haven’t responded back
-Schedule future follow-up dates for all quotes sent
-Engage with existing customers to earn their repeat business
Workload:
The work will require 40 hours per week. The business has rapidly grown and there is room for promotions and bonuses as we grow even larger.
