Social Media Manager

Looking for a Social Media Manager to increase website sales by growing social media followings for 2 Instagram accounts, and 1 Twitter account. This contract position will be 1-3 months with potential to ideally extend to long term contract work. You and I will meet on calls 2-4x/month to readjust strategy as needed.


Key Role Accountabilities:

- Drive social media growth - Increase following by +5K-10K followers/Instagram account by the end of 3 months through organic outreach, engagement strategies, and cross promotion across social channels
- Develop, propose & execute new social media growth strategies
- Share data and examples of relevant social media pages with successful content and strategies to guide strategic growth discussion
- Edit and create new content templates in Canva to post on social media accounts and Shopify website
- Create, edit, and manage posts for 2 Instagram accounts: posting approximately 3x/week each, and 1 Twitter account: posting approximately 1-2x/week
- Help further develop brand’s visual identity across all platforms and spaces
- Identify trends, relevant news, influencers, and other opportunities in the social media space, helping to increase the brands’ share of voice and sustain brand affinity and loyalty
- Other social media related projects


To Be Successful in This Role You Will Need:

- Social Media Management experience
- Know how to create & edit Instagram reels
- Great communication skills
- Experience using Canva, basic design skills, and an eye for ---------- anded content templates have already been created in Canva along with a handful of content that is already ready to post, and a set of guidelines for adjusting the templates to create new posts. Though these templates are already created, I am looking for someone who will make creative suggestions & improve content for increased engagement and growth.
- Copy writing experience is a plus
