JOB OVERVIEW

The Yu Center for Lifestyle Excellence is founded by Dr. Wei-Na Yu, a traditional Chinese medical healer who has studied and practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine in its original form in China. Dr. Yu is a highly respected, widely adored, and celebrated Chinese medicine doctor in New York and around the Tri-State area and now countrywide. Dr. Yu uniquely combines her extensive Chinese medicine knowledge of whole-body healing, with today’s western lifestyle, to transform diet, and nutrition and bring true cellular detox, into her patients’ natural healing process. As a result, she has served over 50,000 patients in almost 40 years of practice.

The center offers Traditional Chinese Medicine, Clinical nutrition, and True Cellular Detox, which go to the root cause of health problems such as underlying organ dysfunction and/or nutrition deficiency and the cellular detox level.

The team includes Dr. Colin Zhu, DO, DipABLM, Chef who is Board-Certified in family practice and lifestyle medicine. Another team member is Dominica Zhu, MBA who is a trained Certified Health Coach, Certified Bodytalk Practitioner, and nutritionist where she offers her knowledge as a health educator and impact strategist at the Yu Center of Lifestyle Excellence.

The center’s priority is to let as many people as possible know that they can naturally gain vibrant health.

The practice has recently moved virtually.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the communications platforms and executing marketing strategies for the presence of the Yu Center for Lifestyle Excellence. The goal of the communications strategy and platforms would be to increase brand awareness, increase patients for the office, and provide health education resources for the public. The ideal candidate must have an interest and passion to translate traditional Chinese medical knowledge and alternative healing information into content that is interesting, authentic, and interesting for the target audience.

This person will have strong storytelling skills, and communication skills, and be able to work independently and creatively in a startup-like environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Ideally college level or college graduate, but open to other levels of education as long as the candidate is up to date with the latest social media trends and platforms
With at least one year of experience in social media management and virtual administrative tasks
With strong verbal, written, and storytelling communication skills in English
Must have strategic marketing and communications mindset
Must have strong skillsets in creating digital content that connects to the target audience (e.g. individuals looking for health information, individuals looking to improve their lives with lifestyle shifts, etc)
Must have experience handling emails and connecting with other professionals
Must have experience creating and editing photos via Canva and Photoshop
Must have basic knowledge and skills in video editing
Skills in blog writing are a plus
Can handle multiple tasks while delivering quality and timely content


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
With laptop/desktop with at least 8GB RAM
The Internet connection speed of at least more than 5MBPS

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, optimize and scale the overall social media strategy from content creation, profile management, and marketing activities to the overall profile channels optimization and to be able to funnel inbound marketing to the client.
Social media management across different social platforms (including but not limited to building a YouTube channel, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc)
Virtual content creation and know-how to direct and think of new content
Create graphics and posts for social media, websites, podcasts, and other necessary platforms via Canva, Photoshop, or a similar platform
Editing videos and audio for the client, series, and other needed contents
Sales funnel building/brand awareness/lead generation
Creating, sending, and managing emails within the database (i.e. sponsorships and customers)

Email
marketing/customer/leads coordination and newsletters
Content article writing and blogging
Schedule patient appointments by managing inbound calls and messages
Follow up and/or update patients about their scheduled appointment
Provide customer support through email, online chats, or other communication platforms
Handle and organize EMR or electronic medical records
Must be able to convert physical forms into digital format
Answer general patient queries
Undergo training and studying resources provided by the Client
Miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned by the Client
