We are looking for a fast and experienced Video Editor, ideally based on Manila. This position involves editing videos taken at Exhibitions, Events etc. of our client's stands. Some footage will require a compilation of a few different stands or require different video lengths. The goal of our videos is to showcase our work examples for marketing and pitching.
What's involved?
The raw footage taken by our team or professional contractors will be selected and provided along with a simple brief. You will then be responsible for the following:
• Post-production using Premier Pro (preferred software)
• Sorting and organising of the raw clips provided
• Creating a storyboard and rough structural layout draft video for first approval
• Selecting and purchasing soundtrack for video on Envato Element (Expo Centric's account)
• Adjusting/correcting exposure, colour, saturation, highlights and etc (to increase the stand's visual appearance)
• Adjusting/correcting audio clip
• Creating/adding interview name titles
• Exported to the optimal resolution we plan to use content (1080p or Social media sizes)
• Providing all working files to our server/cloud.
To achieve consistency across our final videos, we will provide a guideline with intro and outro templates.
The volume of work will depend on how many exhibitions stands we have per month. On average, it would be 3 to 4 stands per month. Each stand will consist of exporting two videos: 1 x full clip (2 - 2:30 minute) and 1 x highlight clip (30 seconds). The photo edits should only take 1-2 days to turnaround.
Before we select the right candidate, we would like to trial a video edit
- For the first six months (approximately), you will be working from home, and then work from the office that we are setting up in Manila- You must have your own MAC or PC, Adobe Software and reliable Internet- For the right applicant, there will be an opportunity to travel to Australia for training subject to VISA approvals.
