Seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal

We are an entrepreneurial business litigation law firm on track for aggressive growth. We need an experienced litigation paralegal to join our team and work directly with the owners and attorneys to support the team and help our clients.
We want to be known for helping our clients resolve their business disputes and feel that they had a team behind them that cared and fought for them. We are growing fast and need an experienced litigation paralegal who can hit the ground running.
This position will be responsible for meaningful work, including:
1. Drafting letters and simple court documents
2. Drafting complaints by customizing standard forms
3. Drafting motions and other court documents
4. Filling out legal forms
5. Writing reports and legal documents
6. Conducting thorough research about laws and judicial decisions, about current as well as past cases
7. Helping attorneys prepare cases for trial
8. Assisting lawyers in the courtroom
9. Reviewing contracts, corporate bylaws, and other legal documents
10. Assisting at closing for real estate transaction
11. Preparing discovery and responses to discovery demands
13. Docketing (Scheduling) events

We love to help people learn and grow. But we don’t have the time for that right now. We need a litigation paralegal with experience in business litigation. The ideal candidate will be able to take the initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding.
The position is a full-time job with the expectation that you will manage a caseload. During the first 30 days of employment, the pay will be $3.75/hour, with opportunities for increase after that. There is an opportunity for bonus compensation for those who can demonstrate their profitability.
