We are north-america based agency looking to hire a multimedia manager/content director. You main duty is to do video editing and design social media graphics. However, there will be times where you may be asked to assist in some audio editing work. You will be reporting directly to our vice president.
This position is ideal if you are looking to work around 10 hours a week. As long as the work gets done, and emails are answered within 24 to 48 hours, you will have a lot of freedom of your work schedule. This is a permanent position.
Role responsibilities will involve:
-Lead the creation of digital marketing content such as social media images, youtube videos and Instagram videos; based on the raw content created
-Assist in distribution and delivery of multimedia materials when needed
-Editing, cutting and packaging raw video footage
-Review, editing and scheduling media posts
-Developing and implementing strategies to expand media subscriber base
-Participate in content development initiatives and strategy, when necessary
Requirements
-Proven working experience in video editing; and demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
-Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects or Final Cut
-Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, continuity etc
-Creative, out of box thinker who excels at developing and executing original ideas
-Working experience in graphic design; specifically in Adobe Photoshop and Canva
-Audio editing experience strongly preferred
