We are a US website design and marketing company based in Florida who focuses on helping small businesses increase their brand presence online through a comprehensive online marketing platform that features a wordpress based website, SEO efforts, social media campaigns, and frequent content updates on both the website as well as other online platforms.
We are seeking a virtual assistant who will work exclusively for our CEO for 40 hours per week. The hours are from approximately 8am to 5pm local PH time with some flexibility. You must have a Skype account which you will utilize to actively communicate through to us during your shift, during any staff meetings, and for follow-up or clarification on all assignments. A condition upon acceptance of the position would be that you do not contract work with another company or individual during your employment with us. This position is an independent contractor position and pays $450 - $500 per month. You will be required to submit daily and weekly progress reports in addition to all assignments that are due.
The ideal candidate will possess the skills to complete the following tasks and training will be provided for all tasks, but the ideal candidate must be flexible in learning other tasks as needed with a positive attitude:
• Extensive internet research on assigned topics.
• Accurate and detailed note taking of webinars, educational development programs, and internet marketing related coaching that you will be listening and/or viewing as part of an assignment.
• Proofreading and editing work on previously written documents as well as composing original documents based on assigned topics.
• Transcription tasks
What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
• Fluent English speaking individual who is able to effectively communicate (in the spoken word, written word, and grammar skills) in English very clearly with minimal Filipino accent.
• Must have a computer, a reliable internet connection, and web camera.
• Proficient knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent ability in Skype communication including messaging, voice calls, and video calls.
• Ability to convert documents to PDF documents and combine documents into a larger PDF portfolio.
• Must be able to type 70wpm, and provide documented proof of this ability, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent time management skills are required. Due dates for assigned tasks are often the next business day, U.S. EST.
• Must have a positive attitude and be a highly motivated individual with the ability to show initiative in all assigned tasks.
• Must possess integrity and well developed character with the ability to be trusted with any information that you are privy to.
• Some Wordpress experience would be A+. Coding experience is not needed, however, general knowledge of the administrative dashboard of a Wordpress based website and the ability to edit pages would be helpful.
