ABOUT THE ROLE
The RPM Group has 4 core business entities/offerings, categorised into:
• Motorsport
• Repairs & Roadside
• Wheels & Tyres
• Performance & Accessories
Due to significant growth within the Wheels & Tyres sector right across Australia, The RPM Group are seeking to add a number of qualified and/or experienced Passenger and Light Commercial Vehicle Tyre Fitters to our existing teams.
These roles will be predominantly workshop based, working on Passenger and Light Vehicles with core responsibilities being:
• Inspecting tyres to determine which repair action to implement and repairing punctures in tubes and tubeless tyres.
• Operating air driven equipment to remove and refit tyres and tubes on vehicles.
• Balancing wheels and tyres using static and electronic equipment.
• Checking vehicle steering and suspension to identify faults in vehicle stability.
• Identify and interpret tyre and rim regulations and make adjustments as required.
• Sales and recommendations for alloys, tyres and accessories.
• General customer service and invoicing/receipting where required.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for these roles, you will be required to meet the following criteria:
Required:
• A minimum 12 months’ experience fitting tyres to passenger and light commercial vehicles.
• Readily available to relocate (physically and financially) for a sponsorship opportunity.
• A current Drivers’ License
• A great attitude and be a genuine team player
• A great work ethic, reliable and flexible.
• Great customer service skills with good written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• A strong commitment to Health, Safety and
• A Certificate III in Automotive (Tyre Management)
• A forklift license.
