ABOUT US: We are an online media and publishing company that is operating several websites, and therefore professionalism and attention to detail is the most important aspect for consideration at our firm. Our team works hard, fast, and collaboratively, and is rewarded for reaching goals.

Both the project managers are expert WordPress developers so this is not a job that you can sneak by with some basic knowledge or just being able to implement a WP site. You actually need to be a PHP programmer and be comfortable developing WordPress plugins and themes from scratch. They will teach you as well. Knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JQuery is required. This is a FULL TIME position and will be remote.

JOB DUTIES:

1) develop code from scratch in PHP - Develop websites - Design and implement websites from initial concept, site architecture, and user interface; PSD to HTML to WP - Code and implement WordPress sites from Photoshop layout through HTML/CSS for custom themes, functions, and plugins.

2) manage sites that we are currently running and build new sites to specification; This includes adding features and functions, troubleshooting issues, and adding new design elements to sites

3) Troubleshoot and debug issues on our support forums

QUALIFICATIONS:

a) Must be able to fluently speak English and work between 9am - 5pm EST (United States)
b) Experience with PHP and WordPress is a MUST HAVE, as well as strong knowledge of HTML, CSS,
JQuery, and Twitter Bootstrap, and Github
c) Familiarity with WordPress standards and administrative practices
d) Broad knowledge of which WordPress plugins work best for certain features, how to implement plugins, and troubleshoot whenever issues arise
e) Must be able to fluently speak English and work between 9am - 5pm EST (United States)
