TECHNICAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT & ADMIN

We are an online media company that has several brands in our portfolio. These include, but are not limited to, a site that sells WordPress plugins and also a few SaaS apps. We are looking for 1 full-time support staff member (8 hours/day x 5 days/week) to help with TECHNICAL SUPPORT.

JOB DETAIL:

1) Answer all support open assigned tickets via support ticket system and support forums
2) Able to create PHP & CSS code for customization requests from customer; Must be excellent at WordPress debugging, Twitter Bootstrap, and Web Developer tools. Do not apply if you cannot troubleshoot code. You should be comfortable with Github.
3) Do user acceptance and QA testing of products and features
4) Communicate clearly and effectively with theme and plugin developers for bug issues
5) You will be in constant communication throughout the day on Slack and Skype and will be required to reply immediately to questions and inquiries from team members and customers
5) You can work from anywhere *BUT* you cannot have another job. This is a FULL TIME position.

YOUR SKILLS:

a) Comfortable coding HTML & CSS and have at least some jQuery scripting knowledge.
b) Able to use Firebug, Chrome Developer Tools or similar tool for web development.
c) Knowledge of Wordpress codebase and PHP syntax
d) Excellent command of written English.
e) Patience and polite to help on customers requests.
f) Previous experience with technical support role is a plus.
g) Previous experience developing Wordpress themes is a plus.

PAYMENT

Salary payment is through Paypal every month, no later than the 10th of the month.
