JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for an all-around versatile content & image manager to help us with various weekly tasks for a California travel website.

Weekly tasks include:
1. Uploading content to WordPress from Google Docs (including adding affiliate links, formatting, and using best SEO practices).
2. Sourcing images from Shutterstock and editing them in Adobe Lightroom.
3. Organizing images in Dropbox.
4. Designing pins for Pinterest on Canva.
5. Creating Web Stories for Google Web Stories.
6. Minimal social media publishing on Facebook.
7. Some additional backend website work like internal linking and updating old articles as needed.
8. Some data entry work to update monthly revenue tracking from a variety of sources.

We're looking to hire someone who knows their way around WordPress and feels comfortable working in various backend areas of a website. You'll also need to be comfortable using Adobe Lightroom and Dropbox.

Keep in mind that this role involves a lot of day-to-day work and regular check-ins. With that said, once completely trained in the tasks, we're really needing someone who can work independently and who can understand the nuances of each task and make the appropriate decisions when needed. We're especially looking for someone who is very good at meeting deadlines since that's essential to keep our publishing schedule on track.

Overall, we're looking for someone who:
-Has WordPress experience.
-Is very detail-orientated (please write "it's all in the details" at the start of your job proposal to show that this describes you).
-MEETS DEADLINES - this is incredibly important to us and unfortunately the number 1 reason we've had to let people go in the past. If you don't meet deadlines or if you're not good at time management, you won't be a good fit for this position.
-Has experience with photo editing (preferably with Adobe Lightroom), managing photos (preferably with Dropbox), and simple graphic design work.
-Is fluent in English.
-Is willing to learn new skills to the point where they excel at them .
-Has the capacity to work full-time (40 hours per week).
-Has excellent WiFi and fast internet. This role requires weekly meetings over Zoom, so this is very easy for us to tell right off the ---------- te: In your application, please discuss your experience with the above list of weekly tasks you'll be in charge of and include examples.

*We also offer 3 weeks of paid time off per year after being in the role for six months.
