Sales & Affiliate Representative

We are looking for a Sales & Affiliate Representative to assist in contacting retail stores and influencers within the LGBTQ+ niche to expand our stockists and affiliate partners for our LGBTQ+ merchandise store (NOT sex/adult toys).

Responsibilities:
- Find LGBTQ+ influencers on TikTok and Instagram. Reach out to them via email or direct message to get them to join our affiliate program (template message will be provided)
- Find businesses (gift shops or LGBTQ+ stores) via google around the world that will want to stock our products (product catalogue will be provided)
- Find organizations/corporations that want to bulk purchase our products or make customised orders (could be via LinkedIn, cold-calling, or reaching out to Community Managers and Diversity & Inclusion employees)
- Follow up with businesses to restock our products and/or check on status

Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work for an LGBTQ+ merchandise brand (NOT sex/adult toys)
- Have to read up and understand about the LGBTQ+ niche
- Be sensitive about LGBTQ+ topics (sensitive words/phrases to avoid, content to not write about)
- Competent in the use of Trello, Discord, Gmail, Instagram & TikTok
- Comfortable in reaching out to new businesses or influencers and maintain a good relationship with them

Desirable but not compulsory:
- Is an individual within the LGBTQ+ community, or familiar with LGBTQ+ terminology
- Previous sales or affiliate related background (preferably for merchandise or small goods)

As we are based on Canada, working hours for the VA is flexible as long as the work gets done. There is no fixed working hours but the VA must be contactable during the timings agreed upon hiring.
