JOB OVERVIEW

The Community Development Manager’s role is to build a community of those engaged with the Foundation’s mission and requires sensitive interaction with a variety of internal and external contacts. This position will be responsive to members of the Foundation’s Community including but not limited to:

? Users and members
? Coaches and consultants
? Member of the Advisory Board(s)
? Those supportive of the Foundation’s mission

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Partner with the Social Media Manager, Development Manager, and the President as it related to community building.

? Assist in building and nurturing relationships with those staff members, board members, volunteers, and stakeholders.
? Manage the pipeline of organizations and individuals that want to be in the Foundation’s directories.
? Manage the pipeline of individuals for the Foundation’s webcasts.
? Respond to emails and messages from the Community.
? When appropriate respond to social media posts.
? Assist with scheduling appointments for the President to engage with the community.
? Assist with logistics of the Foundation’s events.

Required Qualifications and Skills
? Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as journalism, marketing, advertising, communications, or management is preferred.
? High levels of US English writing skills for correspondence and short articles.
? Marketing and communications skills to persuasively explain the Foundation’s story.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a remotely configured team.
? Proficiency in computer skills related to using a CRM, Teams, Word, managing message templates, correspondence, communications, and reporting.
? Highly collaborative, communicative, and has a “let’s build each other up” attitude.
