Bookkeeper / Quickbooks Pro

I am seeking a bookkeeper / Quickbooks Pro with 5 or more years’ experience to join my friendly, supportive team. I own multiple small businesses consisting of residential property management, rental homes, and self-storage facilities.
You will be responsible for bookkeeping of all businesses and keep my personal finances up to date as well.

The key duties included:
• Daily reconciliation in Quickbooks
• Data Entry
• Que up bills to be paid and help me to meet payment deadlines
• Assist in evaluating performance of current businesses and work with our team to grow
• Assist in evaluating possible future businesses
• Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports as required
• Produce financial statements, detailed variance analysis, and general ledger account reconciliation for individual entities
• Bank reconciliations and journal entries
• Responsible for general ledger accuracy, accounts payable, payroll, and cash management
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documents for all the entities
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Maintain and track invoices ensuring approvals and match to PO system
• Reconcile year-end payroll tax reports and review/issue W2’s and 1099s
• Assist in the creation and enforcement of internal controls
• Assist with accounting system enhancements
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of process documentations
To be successful in the role you will have:
• Strong English is a must
• Team player
• Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product
• Organize and prioritize tasks and work with minimal direction
• Good GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
• Exceptional work ethic and goal oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel and Quickbooks
• Experience identifying accounting systems and knowledge of AppFolio is a plus
• Preference for candidates with some real estate experience
Education:
• Accounting education
• Appfolio Accounting experience is a plus but can be taught
