Ecom Accountant w/ QBO Experience

We are looking for an experienced and energetic candidate with an excellent accounting background for our online e-commerce business.

We are looking for someone who is well organized, reliable, efficient, and detail-oriented. At least 20-30 hrs per week to start and since our company is growing, the job position may eventually turn into a full-time job.

The candidate will be expected to handle the following tasks:
• Organize Quickbooks Online account
• Manage all accounting transactions and finances
• Tracking expenses and payments for e-commerce store (e.g. COGS, shipping, software costs, etc.)
• Reconciling various accounts such as our Shopify account, credit card/bank/paypal statements, business expenses, employee wages, etc.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Audit financial transactions
• Creating weekly/monthly financial statements

Requirement and/or Qualifications:
• Work experience as an Accountant
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• 2+ years of experience in Quickbooks Online and with Quickbooks Certification
• 2+ years in bookkeeping
• 2+ years Accounts Payable experience
• Has worked with bank and credit card accounts before
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Excellent computer skills including MS Excel, Google Suite Software (Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
• Experience with General Ledger functions
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing (English)
• Strong attention to details, persistence, and good analytical skills
• Possess excellent organizational skills

Other preferred requirements:
• E-commerce Accounting Experience
• Experience with Shopify and PayPal
• Experience using Airtable and doing advanced calculations with pivot tables, etc.
• Experience with tax filing for Partnerships / LLC's (USA)
