POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a part-time role (10 hours per week). As the company media buyer, you would report directly to our CEO and Head of Digital Marketing. For this role, you’ll have the ability to work remotely. Typical hours for this role are very flexible; on occasion, there is a need to work additional hours including on evenings and weekends during a launch or other events throughout the year.
MISSION
The mission of the Google Ads Media buyer to is to take complete ownership over the media buying for Google Ads. This will include developing new Ad angles and strategies, writing Ad copy, split testing sales and landing pages that we drive paid traffic to, accountability for ROAS, and conversions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Google Ads media buyer will have the following primary responsibilities:
Technical:
Media buying on Google and potentially other platforms on which you hold a certification and have training and experience
Optimizing the performance of ad campaigns and taking full ownership of your Ad buying results
Driving click and ultimately sales through persuasive copywriting
Lead segregation through tagging
Using analytics and data to track the performance of your ads (conversions, costs per acquisition, ROAS, and other KPIs)
Developing attention-grabbing creatives, headlines, and copy
Creating new marketing angles while implementing and split testing them
Creating systems and processes to improve the funnel and workflow related to paid Ads
Designing (UX/UI), testing, and optimizing landing pages to convert
Scriptwriting for VSLs, Webinars, and Video Ads
Possessing a thorough understanding of various marketing-related software and tools such as ClickFunnels, ActiveCampaign, Zapier, Go HighLevel, Stripe, PayPal, Google Analytics, Hyros, Slack, Zoom, ASANA and others.
Maintaining a basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferred
Experience: 2-5 years of general digital marketing experience with at least 1 year of full-time media buying experience
Proficient in spoken and written English
Highly proficient in copywriting and marketing psychology
Experience running ads for digital courses is a plus
Experience running ads for in the healthcare space is a plus
Certifications:
Google Ads Search Certification or Similar Certificate
Google Ads Display Certification or Similar Certificate
Google Ads Video Certification or Similar Certificate
Google Ads Measurement Certification or Similar Certificate
