Back-end Web Developers

Pink Parrot Media is a UK based digital media agency which receives dozens of WordPress work per day. All web developers in our team have wide range of understanding and advance skills in their area. In order to expand our impact, we are looking for new back-end wonder-doers who can fascinate us with their motivation and skills.

You should be comfortable doing the following:
- Fixing HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, jQuery and HTML5 code issues and bugs
- Create a responsive website or modify an existing website to be mobile compatible and responsive
- Web Scraping
- Woocommerce
- Transferring the website to a new host or server
- Installing themes

Preferred qualifications are:
• Experience using/creating WordPress templates, themes, and plugins
• Solid understanding of UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability
• Strong back-end development skills and some basic understanding of how front-end development works
• Solid markup skills utilizing HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with PHP and jQuery
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with SEO and SEM is a plus
