1.1 years to 4 years of experience in the SW Engineering role.
2. Exposure to all phases of SW Development lifecycle
3. Good understanding of business domain (Telecom Preferred)
4. Strong in Java 7/8 and exposure to JEE background.
6. Good working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Unix
7. Working experience in REST and web application frameworks like Spring Boot.
8. Strong experience in Unit Testing using tools like Junit & TestNG, and mocking tools like Mockito/Power mock.
9. Good working knowledge of automation frameworks like cucumber, SOAPUI etc.
10. Working experience with version control tools like Git and Bitbucket or similar
11. Strong knowledge of OOPS principles, OOD
12. Exposure and hands-on with Clean Code, Refactoring, and implementation of OOAD principles and Design Patterns
13. Exposure to Agile/Scrum/TDD/SAFe methodologies.
14. Experience with Continuous Integration (Jenkins), Continuous Deployment, Static Code Analysis (SonarQube)
15. Strong knowledge in building management tools like Maven
16. Understanding/experience for any ordering (an added advantage but not mandatory)
17. WIlling to work in Taguig/ MAKATI

Key responsibilities & Behavior Competencies

1. Engineering – Designs at user story level, develops, modifies, debugs and/or maintains software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications. Follows software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology (such as
DevOps) and release processes. Ensures code is well designed, testable, maintainable, scalable and ---------- velops software verification plans and automation and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. Promotes system reliability and operability. Provides demos of software products to stakeholders.

2. Investigation - Investigates issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes (analyzeand fix bugs) and workarounds, reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
3. Analysis - Analyses requirement documents/HLDs. Performs impact assessment (for
example, for critical production issues) and contributes to Root Cause Analysis of issues
and outlines corrective actions.
4. Team Work, Collaboration and Empowerment - Performs peer code inspection, reviews developed solutions, and provides relevant feedback, makes decisions together quickly and effectively and works with cross-functional teams to achieve goals. Work as technical interface with other teams to resolve issues related to interfacing functionalities.
5. Technical Ownership - Assumes technical accountability for his/her specific work products
within an application and provides technical support during solution design for new requirements. Ensures that documentation related to specific modules/applications is correct and up to date.
6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement - Actively searches for innovation, continuous improvement and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
7. Quality and SLAs - Contribute to meeting various SLAs and KPIs as applicable, for example,nResponsiveness, Resolution, Software Quality SLAs, etc. Ensures assigned tasks are completed on time and delivery timelines are met in accordance with quality targets of the organization.
8. Onboarding and Knowledge Sharing - Onboard new hires and train them on technology and practices. Shares knowledge with tea ---------- mbers.
