Web Developer

A technical and enthusiastic high achiever with great web development skills and attention to detail is required to join a prominent UK games business. The applicant will join a thriving team of remote workers, creating and marketing exciting new products and services to a worldwide audience.

The successful Web Developer applicant will be responsible for website and ecommerce projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

-Building, updating and managing conversion optimised Wordpress websites
-Building, updating and managing ecommerce stores
-Building, updating and managing digital products and membership sites
-Planning and implementing CRO experiments

Role Requirements:

-Have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience working as web developer preferably in the ecommerce space.
-Have a passion for mystery detective games, board games and puzzle experiences
-Have excellent UK English language skills (both spoken and written).
-Be prepared to work during UK timezone (09:00 AM to 05:00 PM UK Time Monday to Friday).
-Be able to prioritise work effectively and re-prioritise quickly if other tasks take precedence.
-Have the ability to pick up new tasks, processes and technology quickly and efficiently.
-Have good timekeeping and be able to work to strict deadlines.

Technical Requirements:

-Have very good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the creation of PDF documents
-Have a fast and reliable internet connection.
-Have a reliable, fast computer with adequate security software installed and updated. A working webcam is essential for tea ---------- etings.
-Be able to use Slack, Trello, Zoo ---------- etings and Office 365.
-Please note: we use time tracking software which will need to be installed on your computer and active during working hours.
