WordPress Designer and Fullstack Developer

We're Looking For A: WordPress Developer who will be responsible for the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures, QC all pages before they go live, and manage the coding team by assigning them to the developers and following up when needed.

Resourceful and takes initiative in researching and finding solutions
Detail oriented and proficient at managing projects and able to organize, prioritize and structure workload
Openness and ability to learn new concepts and systems quickly
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Great attention to detail, highly organized
Ability to work independently, as well as a part of a team
3-5+ years experience in CMS development with a strong focus on WordPress.
Hands on experience with WordPress, CSS, JavaScript, HTML5 and PHP
Building websites using WordPress and other open source software
Experience building and maintaining custom WordPress plugins a plus

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
UX development
Custom plugin development (including hooks, extensions, feature add ons of existing services)
Enable access and control of microservices via WordPress
Develop and implement unit tests with new features/functionality
Peer review commits for other product development team members
Document all findings in Redmine and communicate status daily via Slack

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient skill and knowledge of PHP and MySQL
Experience creating WordPress plugins from scratch
Passionate about writing clean and maintainable code
Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, & HTML5
Good understanding of website architecture and design principles
Prior experience with AWS services is a plus
