SEO Editor

We’re seeking an SEO editor to help grow ArchIntel/ Executive Mosaic’s search traffic. The editor will provide search optimization recommendations for top stories, articles, and track performance. This editor will also help contribute to SEO training, editing, and proofreading content from our writers in order to stay on top of SEO trends.

Responsibilities and Duties

Edit and publish articles from SEO Writers (typographical errors, language style, journalistic rules, keyword optimization, formatting, etc.)
Ensure that the data and information in the articles come from trusted and accountable sources before being published
Ensure the distribution of keywords in articles according to SEO rules
Manage and monitor keywords from articles that SEO Writer has written
Monitor and improve keyword rankings
Plan, manage and assign a task list for an SEO writer
Oversee day-to-day operations of our SEO team
Develop KPIs for our writing team
Coordinate with external web and SEO consultants
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or similar is a plus
Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role
Experience in editing SEO articles
Has managerial experience
In-depth knowledge of SEO, social media trends, and online publishing.
Experience in using keyword tools (such as ahrefs, semrush, google keyword planner).
Experience in link building or outreach
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
A strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword optimization and article structure
Strong communication skills
Able to write SEO friendly articles
Basic knowledge about image copyright rules
