Video Editor to help tell stories on Youtube!

WE'RE HIRING a Video Editor to help us tell stories with video, audio, and text on a Youtube travel channel for Mile High Wine Tours & Vinera Hub.


We are looking to appoint an experienced and talented Video Editor to join us to manage and review audio and visual footage and use computer software to organize clips into a cohesive unit. Their duties include splitting or combining video clips, adding appropriate sounds or graphics, and watching the finished product to catch mistakes before submitting it for review.


*Responsibilities*

-Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
-Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
-Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
-Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
-Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
-Create rough and final cuts
-Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
-Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
-Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
