Web designer

JOB OVERVIEW

Dogpaw Studio is looking for a dedicated part-time web designer that is up for becoming part of a purposeful team.

We are looking for someone who can work at least 2 hours between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm - US, Pacific Time Zone (GMT-8)

At Dogpaw Studio ( ---------- ) our goal is to build websites for non-profit organizations and purposeful businesses that deliver return on investment and create lasting relationships! We help non-profits and other purposeful businesses looking to improve their online presence with a website that is trending with an up-to-date design but flexible enough to grow with the organization.

Preferred expert knowledge of:
• Design web page mockups
• Graphic design
• Mobile responsive web design

Tool/Platforms our team uses daily:
• ClickUp - Project management
• Slack - Daily team communication
• Google Docs & Sheets
• Zoom - Regular tea ---------- etings

Other areas of knowledge are helpful:
• BeaverBuilder Framework for WordPress
• WordPress front-end development

We strive for:
• Quality of work and timely attention
• High attention to detail

Regular tasks include:
• Design mockups for web pages from working prototype WordPress sites
• Collaborate with a team of WordPress developers on our team as websites are built based on your web design

Qualities we are looking for:
• 100% English fluency, both oral and written.
• Comfortable conducting Zoo ---------- etings with our tea ---------- mbers in English (with video)
• At least 1+ years of experience in web design for WordPress websites
• A free thinker, willing to look for answers.
• Fully understands mobile responsive web design.
• A team player who is happy working in a small team or 2-4 people.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong listening skills
• Confidence in web design, responsive design, graphic design
• Responsive: Quick with email and chat communication

Special requirements:
• A computer that is two years old or less
• Hi-speed internet service at your workplace and some kind of backup internet (mobile data)
