Travel Consultant

The travel consultant should meet with clients to determine their needs, and then select the most appropriate options given time and budget constraints. You should also inform clients of cancellation procedures and any applicable penalties. The goal is to enhance satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele

To ensure success as a travel consultant, you should plan arrangements in accordance with clients' mobility and medical requirements. An outstanding travel consultant will monitor and tend to all queries within short turnaround ---------- sential Duties and Responsibilities:
Consultants are responsible for booking airlines, hotels, car rentals for clients using the GDS or any other system like ---------- .
Consultant must have extensive GDS knowledge (Global distribution System) like Amadeus or similar.
Consultant must have good knowledge of a back-office system like Tramada to prepare the itineraries and link with the account system.
Consultant needs to have excellent customer relations’ skills to ensure the clients are satisfied with the service.
Responding to inquiries about the company’s services and ---------- termining each client’s requirements, including destinations, length of stay and transit time.
Ensuring that clients pay the deposit before you commence with ---------- rming clients about the cancellation policy, including salient dates and all penalties.
Ascertaining and adhering to the available ---------- lecting the most appropriate transport based on the available finances, requisite departure and arrival times, and preferred duration of ---------- curing accommodation that is best suited to the budget and location of choice.
Planning excursions based on each client's needs and interests.
Accounting for mobility and medical needs during each phase of the trip planning process.
Consultants need to have excellent written and verbal English to be able to understand the client’s ---------- cation and Work Experience:
With a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Travel consultant.
Experienced with Amadeus and Tramada is a must.
A degree in tourism or similar is preferred.
Top-notch interpersonal skills, including communication, respect, and empathy.
Knowledgeable in back-office system such as Serko is preferred.
A knack for delivering multiple outputs within tight turnaround times, as ---------- pacity to deliver commendable services that surpass clients' expectations.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
