Senior React / React Native Engineer

Your experience:
- React / React Native: 5+ years
- Experience in backend technologies such as Ruby on Rails is a bonus++
- Deep React knowledge beyond the basics
- Good understanding of how to write unit, integration & end-to-end tests
- You love software development and your abilities and passion for frontend technology, how and when to refactor, code reviews, and testing automation are at the highest level
- You ideally have experience of working with early stage startups or a strong motivation to join one
- Leadership & coaching skills are a bonus but it's expected that 90%+ of your time will be hands-on working on engineering tasks

Required availability:
- Full-time, i.e. 32 hours per week or more

The role:
You'll start off as an individual contributor and ramp up quickly to start delivering & shipping code. Along the way you will learn about the Bridge code base, team & process with the help of a dedicated team member 'buddy'. Once you've found your feet, the goal is to then grow your senior responsibilities such as:
- Uphold and foster good coding practices
- Lead or co-lead on product stories
- Help with code reviews
- Coach/guide other team members
- Contribute to the evolving architecture of the web and mobile applications
- Further develop other technical skills
- Proactively do your best to be a valued member of team
