Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator

We are currently looking for a full-time Quantity Surveyor/Estimator. Our Company is based in Utah and specializes in residential and commercial concrete construction.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator (Preferably concrete)
- Having experience using planswift is REQUIRED
- Having planswift software installed is a plus
- Having experience using Autocad
- Being proficient in excel and MS office
- Understanding of data analysis and estimation metrics
- Well-organized and reliable
- BS in engineering, Architect, or construction related degree
- Willing to work under MST time (Night Shift)

Responsibilities:

-Review architectural and structural concrete plans to prepare concrete quantity take-offs
-Estimate the quantity and costs of materials; rebar, hold downs, concrete, etc
-Prepare excel files with quantity take-off
-Set budget for project
-Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets
-Identify potential financial or construction risks
-Analyze completed projects to determine estimate accuracy
- Create 2D AutoCad file of procured jobs
