Wordpress Developer

We're seeking a Wordpress Developer with a MINIMUM of 3 years of experience. This is for a full-time position working inside a U.S.-based firm. This is a work-from-home job.

He/She should be able to follow instructions given by the Project Manager handling the project, consistently collaborate with teammates and provide better solutions and/or workaround, and create, execute, or influence strategies for the project or the team.

Responsibilities
- Building and testing aesthetic, functional and user-friendly websites.
- Coordinating with designers, content providers, and management or business owners.
- Implementing and ensuring website security and data protection.
- Maintaining, updating, and optimizing servers.
- Monitoring and analyzing site performance.
- Updating website content and reviewing SEO.
- Addressing and responding to user comments and complaints.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have 3+ years of experience developing fully customized WordPress themes.
- Experience developing responsive websites from PSD’s.
- Experience with HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3/Jquery.
- Knowledge of responsive web design and development.
- Strong understanding of PHP/MySQL.
- Understanding of cross browser/device development techniques.
- Experience in cross browser support and graceful degradation.
- Experience integrating with and debugging content management systems.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices a plus.
- Experience with Woocommerce & WordPress frameworks a plus.
- Comfortable working in a variety of CMS’s, frameworks and templating systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time and to work with little to no supervision.
- Familiarity with good principles of UX, front-end coding, and web design.
