Japanese Translator

Job description

Our team is looking for someone with good verbal and written communication skills who can connect with Japanese clients and discuss related topics like content, news, promotions, guides, events, etc. This position is responsible for the accurate interpretation and translation of oral statements and written materials including technical and legal documents from Japanese to English and vice versa.

The translator will assist different departments by providing administrative support to executives and managers as well as preparing documentation and presentations, performing clerical duties, and effectively researching industry-specific terminology to ensure translated communication conveys original meaning and tone.

Responsibilities:
•To translate work documents from Japanese clients written in Japanese to English.
•To serve as an interpreter between us and our Japanese clients.
•To translate work documents written in English to Japanese and vice versa.
•Other related tasks to support the operations.

Requirements:
•Must have proficient oral and written communication skills in both languages.
• Must have prior experience in translating/interpreting
•Must be familiar with various Japanese traditions and etiquettes.
•Fluency in Japanese Language (understanding, speaking, and writing)
• Communication skills
• Japanese nationality
