Right Wrong Game Co is looking for a qualified Communications Coordinator to join our team part-time (10 hours per week). If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR, sales and promotional events, we would like to meet you. Our ideal candidate will help manage community outreach, organize meetings and presentations, and interact with clients and prospects to effectively deliver our company’s message to the public and the media.
You must possess superb written and verbal communication skills, and have in-depth knowledge of sales & marketing strategies, as well as a great understanding of technology and social media. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. Your duties will be diverse and multi-faceted, therefore excellent professional skills are vital for this role. Ultimately, you should be able to act as a face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES for Communications Coordinator
Direct outreach, cold calling and sales marketing to wholesalers & distributors
Write a variety of different content to support communications and marketing efforts, including newsletters, website copy, brochures, press releases and social media posts
Assist communications team in developing and implementing a communications strategy designed to further company objectives and brand visibility
Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and failures of communications campaigns and strategies
Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices
Respond to media inquiries and maintain relationships with journalists and other members of the press, influencers and various media outlets
Plan press conferences and other promotional events to help keep the organization top of mind
Coordinate volunteers, support staff, influencers, street team, vendors and more to support promotional events
Perform outreach to press outlets, magazines, influencers and build strategic partnerships to grow brand notoriety
QUALIFICATIONS for Communications Coordinator
2+ years experience in a communications, sales or marketing role
Superior time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
An analytical mind and ability to think critically
Exceptional english writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Familiar with GSuite products and capable of creating visually compelling presentations
Knowledge of
Proven knowledge of communications and marketing ethics and best practices
Proficient public speaking abilities and written sales copy skills are an asset
Bonus points if you’re into card games
