Legal Back Office serves small to mid-size law firms across the United States. We are a fun and flexible team to work with and as a start-up, there is never a dull Upgrade to see actual infont! All employees work remotely even though our corporate office is in St. Louis, MO.

This position is a highly visible role with our clients and will be responsible for the full spectrum of human resources work for Legal Back Office clients. We pride ourselves on creating partnerships where our clients like us and trust us. This means we don’t take on ass-hole clients and we don’t hire shady teaUpgrade to see actual infombers either. All of our people work hard and have the best attitudes. We also genuinely like each other and working together, even when we have to work through conflict. Oh, and guess what, our founder and CEO has traveled extensively in the Philippines and has Pilipino family members. How cool is that?

We pay a $100USD/month for a technology stipend since everyone works from home to cover a portion of their internet and cell phone costs since employees work from home and so you don’t have to be bothered by managing two phones.

Position Responsibilities for LBO clients:

Payroll: processing, HR role as it pertains to payroll and benefits, payroll tax report audits.

Benefits administration: collect benefits paperwork for employees of our clients and either direct to the benefits broker or enroll/terminate employees with various benefits vendors.

Recruiting administration: draft job postings, post jobs, review resumes and coordinate with candidates and our LBO clients on the status of their job openings.

Other duties as assigned as well as providing overflow support for the accounting team in areas associated with candidate's experience.

General expectations:

All deadlines are expected to be met and are tracked in our project management software.

Quality work product is expected, but another teaUpgrade to see actual infomber will always be available for review of work.

Responsiveness to vendors and internal team needs.

An attitude that embraces team-work and communication that is expressed positively.

Continually learning and seeking solutions for oneself and the team is also an important part of our culture.

All employees will uphold and work in alignment with our values consistently.

High comfort level with the use of technology is expected, but training will be offered where needed.
