Key Role
We are looking for a project-based training developer!
A Training Developer is responsible for the creation of onboarding training materials and development programs for AVAs and the core employees. Training developers coordinate with the management to identify training criteria and processes that would fit Advantage’s goals and objectives. They create engaging content and e-learning courseware, as well as assess the employees' learning by conducting activities that will test their knowledge of the subject.
Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in a computer-related discipline, education, or related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement
• Has experience with the creation of training materials using learning management systems (LMS)
• Ability to: develop and present computer-based training to a diverse audience; consult with departments to analyze business processes and support technology needs
• Knowledge of: Adult learning techniques; database retrieval tools; web development tools and languages; instructional design concepts for computer-based training
• Graphic design and video editing knowledge
• Experience in programming, training or systems software and support
• Must have great communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Hardworking and independent who can work with minimum supervision
• Should possess good time management and organizational skills
Responsibilities
• Create onboarding and process training materials and assessments on the LMS site
• Research and implement e-learning courses as instructed by AVAS
• Manage courses and assessments
• Develop and manage the templates for all online courses to include curricula, learning plans, assessments, evaluations, etc
• Create and edit graphics and videos for courseware using Photoshop, After Effects, Canva, or other design applications
• Develop interactive computer-based training
• Provide input and feedback to AVAS as to how content should be presented to users
• Engage technical support management to analyze business training needs, perform gap analysis and develop curriculum using the ADDIE model
• Record instructional voice-over for eLearning
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
System Requirements
• Computer Processor: at least i3 (for both primary and back-up computers)
• Computer Memory/RAM: at least 8.00 GB (for both primary and back-up computers)
• Computer Operating System: at least Windows 7 64-bit
Internet Requirements
• Primary Connection: running on a 10 Mbps wired plan (above 10mbps preferred)
• Back-up Connection: running at least 10 Mbps
