JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a UI/visual designer to join our team and help us design and build an amazing healthcare platform. In this role, you will work closely with our head of product & design as well as our CEO on variety of design projects for our web-based product that includes product user interface layouts and visual design for desktop and mobile. We project we will need you on a full-time basis for the next 1-2 months; then, after that, on a part-time basis.

Luminello is a young start-up based in San Francisco that is building a first-of-its-kind platform service to connect and empower mental health providers and patients.

Responsibilities
-Review notes, briefs and other information with project lead in order to understand project requirements and expectations
-Work with design director, product lead, and/or developers to brainstorm and define design direction and user experience.
-Create and refine product UI layouts in Illustrator or Photoshop, following existing styles and applying user experience and interaction design best practices.
-Produce PDF or PNG mock-ups for others to review.
-Maintain a keen eye for precision and detail from wireframes or mock-ups to final delivery
-Add value at every opportunity, regularly exceed expectations, in effort to deliver an excellent final product
-Deliver high-quality work consistently, on time, and within budget

Requirements
-Ability to design optimized graphics for a variety of media
-Solid understanding of the latest design knowledge and best practices for web design, responsive design, interaction design and mobile.
-Proven experience, resourcefulness and use of techniques for developing ideas that solve problems and achieve goals.
-Exceptional listening skills, and willingness to ask questions if requirements are not clear.
-Extremely precise, organized and highly flexible
-Take ownership for everything you touch and be driven to produce great quality
-Be honest, transparent, and respectful in your interactions
-Must have your own license for Adobe Creative Cloud software (photoshop, illustrator, typekit, etc.) and have a high proficiency in using it for web and mobile UI work.
-Present a strong, diverse portfolio of work (provide URL)
-Degree or certified training in graphic design, web/mobile design, or similar.
-Ability to skype with development team at around 10am San Francisco time 1 or 2 days/week
