Accountant - Team Manager

We are in search of a CONTROLLER to become an essential part of our team! As the Controller, you will manage the employees tasks and the accounting operations across the company and oversee the financial ---------- addition, the Controller will be held accountable to producing financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, identify areas in need of improvement and maximize productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides overall leadership to the finance team and employees tasks
Performs reconciliation on all bank accounts monthly; performs monthly closeout.
Support business development activities by providing pricing for proposals.
Aid in preparing monthly invoices

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 10+ years of experience; or Masters’ degree with 5+ years of experience
3+ years of managing a team
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR)
Familiar with Shopify store
