**About Us**
We're an Australian-based company that teaches kids how to code. Over a 2-4 day holiday camp, we will take a child and teach them how to build their own computer game (like Mario, Flappy Birds, etc)
**What We're Looking For**
We're looking for a talented graphic artist who preferably has some experience designing 2D game assets.
You'll be responsible for building out an extensive library of character spritesheets, objects, backgrounds, etc for our students to choose from when making their games. You'll most likely be using Spriter for making animations. You'll also need to keep this graphics library well organized in a dropbox folder.
We are looking for someone to work with us full time, but if you are only available part time we would consider that too.
**Skills & Requirements**
- Very creative. After we've defined the artistic style of all our assets, we'll just give you a list of characters e.g. rabbit, lion, ninja, etc and you'll be responsible for fully illustrating them.
- Excellent knowledge of vector editing software such as Adobe Illustrator or similar.
- Fast worker. These graphics will just be used by kids to make their games, so they don't have to be perfect. You must be able to work quickly to churn out lots of content, rather than making each graphic perfect.
- Good written english, so we can communicate and understand each other clearly
- Good internet connection, for communication and sharing of graphic assets.
- Be available for some portion of Australian business hours, just to communicate.
- A portfolio that you can show us, so we can see your style.
**Nice To Have**
The following characteristics & skills would be nice to have, but not essential:
- Experience designing game assets. If you have no game design experience, but are an excellent illustrator who is interested in getting in to games, we may still be interested.
- Knowledge of animation (particularly spriter). If you don't know Spriter, you'll have to learn this for the job.
- Full of ideas. Once we work through the list of graphic assets we need, you can come up with ideas for new ones you think will be cool.
**How To Apply**
To apply, please send a link to your portfolio, your skype username, and your salary expectations. Salary is negotiable based on experience and skills.
