JOB OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW: Full-time Employment
==========
I'm a WordPress product manager and super user, seeking another product manager with deep technical (WordPress / PHP / AJAX / CSS) and management skills - first for one initial project, and then for potential ongoing partnership. Responsibility will be to to help co-manage (with me) the design, development, integration (with 3rd party apps), and customization of one major WordPress-centric project. Beyond that there is an opportunity to help manage this site, develop new ones, and maintain a handful of other WordPress based sites that my agency manages.

Winning candidate will be brought on immediately to work on one large project for which the product requirements have already been drafted (25+ pages; can be provided upon request after signed NDA). This fist project involves migrating an existing, functioning website (built for lead generation and ad revenue), including all consumer data, and its affiliate program with over 100 active affiliates, to WordPress and two other external systems (including Post Affiliate Pro (PAP) Affiliate Management Software). Some premium WordPress Plugins will be used (including Gravity Forms) for the lead generation functionality; also custom WP plug-ins will be developed to control the flow of data between WP and multiple external systems (ie: via 3rd party API's).

REQUIREMENTS:
==============
Aside from the above mentioned requirements...

(a) Candidate MUST be able to work closely with my current developers - organize and delegate development tasks, test PHP development work, and FIX issues.

(b) Candidate MUST be able to adapt to our existing project management protocol, while also seeking opportunities for improvement in design/dev processes, procedures, and quality of the website products. Candidate MUST be familiar with Basecamp for project management.

(c) Candidate MUST be willing to act as a representative of my company when communicating with other project stakeholders.

(d) Candidate MUST have experience managing major website re-designs and cutover, to minimize user/consumer impact after go-live.

(e) Experience with lead generation and affiliate marketing a big plus.

(f) Experience with Salesforce CRM a plus.

HOW TO APPLY:
==============
Please answer these instructions when replying to this job. I'll reject any applicants who don't answer all the questions.

(1) How many years experience do you have customizing WordPress (not just installing, but customizing)?

(2) Have you developed custom WordPress plug-ins? Are any of them listed in the WP Plug-in directory? If so, which one(s)?

(3) Please give example(s) of WordPress based site(s) for which you acted as product manager (managing other developers).

(4) Please briefly explain how you meet each of the (a) through (f) requirements above.
