Position: Ecommerce Merchandising Manager

We are looking for a highly-organized, talented and dependable Ecommerce Merchandising Manager. The job role requires project management skills, advanced analytical skills, superior math skills and advanced excel

Roles and Responsibilities:
Managing the merchandising department’s goals and related projects to assure successful execution by ensuring that team tasks are aligned with company goals to maximize profitability and competitiveness with proper coordination with the management.
Responsible for working on merchandising processes includes supplier analysis, product identification, addition of new products, pricing strategies, process improvement, competitor price analysis, forecasting, and preparation/revision of pricing sheets that will be fed to an internal ERP system.
Project management through Asana - ensures that tasks and projects are completed within the specified period by assigning tasks to tea
Projects to be managed include:
Competitor Analysis - analyze the market trends, observe consumer patterns and add new products to the existing product line. Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends. Gather data on consumers, competitors and market conditions.
Pricing Strategy - coordinate with the sourcing team, seeing competitor prices for right pricing, setting up pricing, update product price, and work on the margins.
Adding New Products - gathering information about products, performing quality checks on items added, and adding keywords which are relevant to the item to maximize searchability.
Database Updates Management - create, maintain and manage accurate vendor, item and cost information in various merchandising systems. Manage databases regularly.
Database Planning and Development - monitor sales performance of items to achieve the goal of not only just blindly adding items but to add items that will sell well, set them up in the system and then monitor to see if they are in fact
Financial Statement Analysis - Expense analysis and expense management.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Prefer Candidates who are looking for a long term commitment that is highly self-motivated, extremely dependable, detail oriented and goal oriented.
At least 10 years Accounting experience with at least 5 years managerial experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (with advanced degree preferred but not required).
Must have at least 5 years relevant work experience as Ecommerce Merchandising Manager with exceptional organizational and leadership skills and have strong aptitude for math and numbers.
Proven expertise in creating excel reports with complex formulas and graphs and special functions such as Vlookup, Hlookup, macros, etc.
Outstanding skills in online product research, planning and analysis, negotiation, problem-solving and decision making, research, critical thinking, and multi-tasking.
Must be very proactive and good in suggesting and implementing new ideas.
Should have excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work with multiple level users.
Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation.
Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
