JOB OVERVIEW

Facebook Advertising and Content Specialists:

- We’re on a mission to find someone special. A Facebook advertising aficionado. Not just someone who’s always on Facebook, but someone who understands the power of content and how great brands are represented and grown online.

- We know we have an amazing opportunity for a Facebook advertising and content specialist in Phorest.

- You'll be the kind of person that fears the internet will break if they haven’t tweeted in the last 10 minutes; that firmly believes if it’s not on Instagram it didn’t happen and views Pinterest as the arch nemesis of their bank account and self-restraint. You eat. You Sleep. And you breath writing and never miss an opportunity to get your content out to as many people as possible.

The Role:

You will report to the Marketing Manager and your duties will include:
Your core responsibility is to produce amazing content for Facebook advertising and organic campaigns for hundreds of hair and beauty salons
You will analyse, report and tweak content based on what works

The Candidate:

- You’re creative. To the point that when other people cringe at doing something public or posting something funny, you relish in the limelight

- You’re an amazing righter. When it comes to grammar and flair, you know what’s write, and what’s wrong… (you should now be abhorred by this sentence)

- You’re friendly, helpful and understand that in a small company you wear many hats and that the official working hours of 9-6 are often broken to meet deadlines and make opportunities happen. You also grasp the fact that sales packs have to be filled; mail shots have to packed and we have to keep the milk in supply in the kitchen i.e. we all chip in on everything.

- You really thrive on and embrace the fact that the competitor’s marketing team isn’t working as hard or as creatively as we are. In fact, you know we’ll ultimately succeed if you do the things they’re not willing to do.

- You’re confident, a team-player and wear the fact you’re a marketer as a badge of honour. You may also be a wee bit competitive, but to accomplish and better yourself, not to one-up.

Required Skills:

- You must be a great writer. You have a knack for short, punchy paragraphs, subject lines and social media posts that you can’t help but be proud of

...followed closely by a love of Facebook. You must eat, sleep and breathe Facebook - you have a deep understanding of the value Facebook drives, how the advertising platform works

You’re analytical e.g. you understand that likes and shares are not the only measure of how successful a Facebook post is and you love checking your bit.ly account to see how many clicks your last tweet got

This goes without saying: you’re renowned for reliability and a great work-ethic and push ahead on projects when working in an autonomous environment that is remote.
