Are You My New Marketing & Project Manager?

Are you a skilled and seasoned marketing professional who can handle the launch and ongoing marketing process for one or more business ventures?

I will be launching several online sites selling products online. I am starting out with a children’s book venture focusing on delivery via Kindle for the UK, US and other markets.

I personally have a wealth of knowledge of the Internet, and I know how I want these products set up and marketed. I will be working closely with my marketing manager and overseeing the process. I need a highly competent person who can:

- Execute my instructions
- Add value by suggesting methods and strategies I am not currently considering
- Understand the marketing process, from getting attention through to closing the sales and customer service required afterwards
- If you lack knowledge, you need to be able to read and understand my instructions or course material I will send, then start executing according to the instructions
- You need to be able to project manage, and ideally source, others who can provide the services we require

To give you an idea, I might ask you to set up a website with a sales page, several landing pages, “about us” and a contact page. I would then ask you to launch it using the Jeff Walker Product Launch Formula, for instance. If you don’t know Jeff Walker’s PLF then I would send you the appropriate material so you can discover how it’s done. You would be expected to read it, learn how it’s done, then execute the strategies in that course.

You would also be expected to source a graphics artist to provide the graphics for the site, and either write the marketing copy for the sales page yourself or hire a copy writer to do so, as well as the other pages on the site. Do we need a Wordpress person to set up a site? Your responsibility to source that person and get it done.

I would also ask you to set up a Facebook page, Twitter account and other social media if relevant. You might be ask to hire an Adwords copywriter, get banner and landing page site designs done, etc.

So basically, you would be expected to project manage everything. I am very well versed in everything that needs to be done and will be able to guide you every step of the way if necessary; however you will be expected to be able to execute everything and report the results back to me.

I want to have final approval on various contractors, i.e. check style of graphics from a graphics artist, ensure the grammar of a copy writer is excellent etc, but you are expected to advertise for candidates, interview them and make your final recommendations.

I expect you to be a person of high integrity, to be knowledgeable in the marketing field, be able to project manage staff, and get things done. I also expect daily progress reports highlighting any issues or questions that need to be resolved.

Initially you will be paid an hourly rate. If the venture is successful and your performance is satisfactory then you will receive a percentage of profits, although the amount of that is to be determined.
