Hello from Sydney!

We are a marketing company in Australia and are looking for someone to join our regular and long-term team. We have been working with Filipinos for 9 years and have helped many people secure ongoing employment and work towards their goals.

You will:
- Undergo intensive and structured training
- Learn how to be a Book Keeper for an Australian organisation
- Become familiar with QuickBooks, a major accounting program
- Be taught about GST, an Australian tax
- Gain insight into how an Australian company and its clients operate
- Have opportunities for career progression

We need someone who is:
- Punctual and highly organised
- Dedicated to working towards zero errors
- Fluent in English
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Word+ Excel
- Has either a degree in Accounting or has significant book keeping experience
- Has an understanding of financial statements and account types
- Has worked full time for a single employer for a minimum of 2 years (or an equivalent, eg, study+work)

The role involves entering invoices into accounting software, choosing appropriate accounts, checking the correct tax is applied, linking bills to client accounts, applying payments and generating reports. 40 hours per week, 9am - 6pm, Monday - Friday with a one hour lunch break each day. Opportunities for career progression may include client invoicing, A/R, learning Australian payroll, preparing tax documentation, quality control checks and preparing financial reports.
