Shopify Project Manager - URGENT!

We are looking for a Shopify Project Manager that will manage our client's Shopify Project. The Shopify Project Manager is expected to perform processes and techniques to initiate, plan, manage and deliver specific projects to achieve their goals on schedule and on budget. Project management personnel will typically utilise various methodologies and tools as part of the process.

Job Summary:

The Shopify Project Manager is responsible for ensuring timely internal/external project communication and project flow from kick-off to launch. Responsibilities include ownership of resourcing from the development team, determining project essentials (scope, budget, timelines), monitoring daily project progress, proactively tackling potential questions, delays, and conflicts, coordinating team check-ins and facilitating an open dialogue on project status.

You will also lead and oversee the team providing coaching as needed. This candidate will collaborate with the internal creative, development and leadership teams to keep project teams on task and projects on a timeline. Responsibilities will also include communicating status updates to all key stakeholders and escalating project risks proactively. The Shopify Project Manager can identify opportunities to improve processes and deliver heightened experiences for clients or internal teams.


Responsibilities:
- Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities, and project success criteria.
- Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party.
- Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver the project on budget.
- Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
- Tracking projects and providing regular reports on project status to the project team and key stakeholders.
- Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule, and/or budget.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.


Requirements:
- 5+ years of Shopify Project Management experience.
- Experience and understanding of the Shopify platform.
- Remarkable communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team to its goals successfully.
- Ability to identify and clearly communicate project risks
- Competencies in project planning tools (ex: Hubstaff)
- Understands e-commerce basics and Shopify/Shopify Plus.
- Availability of 30 to 40 hours per week and work within the AEST timezone.
- Experience in both client and advertising agency marketing environments.
- Client service oriented and great interpersonal skills
- Highly skilled at organization and time management
- High attention to detail.
- Expert ability to juggle multiple projects with many moving pieces while weighing priorities effectively.
- Highly accountable, solution-oriented, and detail-oriented
- Knowledgeable in development & design tools such as Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Shopify and other CMS.
- Proficiency in administrative tools Microsoft Office, Google Apps and Google Suite with an aptitude to learn new software and systems.
- Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge.
