Junior Tech Position

Fast-growing online company is searching for help in the tech department.

Ideal person would have a background in IT and have an excellent understanding of how online technology works, and a great feel for technology in general.

Position would be half time to start with a tendency to go full time during more demanding periods (like 2-3 times per year before a major launch event) or as responsibilities of the role increase.

You will primarily be supporting our main tech person, as well as helping other tea ---------- mbers with any tech related tasks and various other stand-alone projects and recurring tasks.

These can vary from simple tasks like creating and editing PDF templates or creating sales and checkout pages, to more complex tasks like setting up integrations between multiple online systems—mailing system, website membership system, products and payments systems—or maintaining websites and performing system backups or updates. Basically, any back-end activities that keep the business running.

The position can be demanding at times due to the nature of the business. Most of the work is templated and process driven, however, sometimes projects will require creativity or out of the box thinking. Have design skills? Great! That can definitely help to pull off a quick edit project in Photoshop here and there, but don't expect this to be big part of the role.

Ideal candidate should have at least some experience in working with these tools:
ActiveCampaign
WordPress
Zapier
Adobe Suite (Ps, Pr, Ae, Acrobat)

It would also be beneficial to have experience with:
ClickUp
Slack
Kajabi
SamCart
Vimeo
Libsyn

None of these are a must. More important than knowing a tool is (1) being eager to learn and grow and become a critical player on a great team, (2) being a quick and agile thinker, and (3) having a knack for technology-related problem solving.
