Digital Marketing Outreach VA (HARO Specialist)

I'm looking for someone for a part-time or freelance (1.5 hours every weekday) role to help with research, write up and respond to PR queries (specifically HARO queries) for our food media site.

We expect the Digital Marketing Outreach VA (HARO Specialist) to do the following:
1. Read through the 3 daily HARO query emails
2. Identify HARO queries to respond to
3. Research and write up an appropriate response to the selected HARO queries
4. Deliver the responses (using Google docs) to the PR team for approval and completion
In addition, for any HARO responses that succeed in bringing a Do-follow backlink to our media site, we will reward you with an added commission bonus.

Requirements for the job:
- Have experience with responding to HARO queries or writing PR emails
- Can read and write professional business English
- Have a laptop or desktop to work from
- Stable internet connection
- Have access to Google drive/docs.
- Ability to use (or to learn to use) Hubspot CRM
- Can work up to 1.5 hours per day every weekday
- Must use a time tracker tool such as Toggl when working.
- Payment is via Paypal. You must have an operational Paypal account. (Sorry, but I will not assist in setting this up for you.)

Please note that I base my decision on how well you answer question #(2) and how well you complete your #(3) test assignment. You can attach a cover letter and resume, but I prefer you focus on #(2) and #(3).

Pay:
- The pay rate is $US165.00 per month (or US$7.5 per day for 22 work days). We will only pay you for the days you work and expect you to work every business weekday for 1.5 hrs.
- For any HARO response that leads to a successful backlink to our media site, we will reward you US$30+ per link.
- We payout on the 14th and 28th day of the month. You must submit a detailed invoice and then I pay within 48 hours (sometimes a bit longer if on a weekend).
