Bookkeeper

About Us:

We are an agency looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to help us support the accounting department’s operations. Our primary client is a Bariatric Surgeon and Medical Weight Loss Practice, but we also have Plumbing, Staffing, Commercial Janitorial, and Airbnb rental clients. This opportunity is freelance or part-time but could lead to a full-time role if talented across industries for someone looking for more stability in pay.


What we are looking for:

We need a bookkeeper willing to work in the EST time zone. We have a Bookkeeping Director on the team but need someone dedicated to supporting day to day operations. We also need someone who is task-driven and proactive in follow-up. We would be glad to provide access to additional tools to help you become successful in your role if necessary.

Your Role:

I expect this person to be able to:
- Post and review daily transactions such as accounts payable/receivable? bank reconciliations? general ledger, and so on
- Monitor the accounting personnel's performance daily
- Ensure that accounting and bookkeeping entries comply with legal regulations and accounting standards
- Supervise month-end and year-end closing operations
- Manage financial documentation? keeping it complete and updated
- Comfortable to be client-facing

Qualifications:

To be qualified for the role, you should be:
- A graduate with a Bachelor's degree in accountancy, accounting technology, finance, or a related field
- QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor or has a proven experience working as a bookkeeper using Quickbooks online
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- Excellent English-Speaking skills
