We are currently looking for a highly-driven Philippines-based Purchasing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a proven leader that's fluent in English (native-level fluency is a must - speaking 9/10, writing 9/10), resourceful and organized, great with supplier relationship management, strong negotiation skills and excellent at juggling many balls and has a reputation for integrity and hard work.

The goal of this role is to purchase physical products with suppliers/distributors in the US to resell on ---------- . You will interface directly with suppliers and will be responsible for making large purchases that drive the business forward.


Job Responsibilities and Experience Required

In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Analyzing whether a product is good or bad for purchase
- Creating and submitting purchase orders with suppliers
- Communicating and building a strong relationship with suppliers
- Negotiating with suppliers
- Improving purchasing processes
- Inventory management
- Relaying purchases to our warehouse partners for receiving/sending

Strong candidate's experience and qualifications will include:

- A strong candidate will have experience making purchases with suppliers and strengthening supplier relationships for better pricing and product procurement
(Bonus points if you not only did those tasks on your own, but also scaled a team under you).
