Medical Virtual Assistant- Admin

We are seeking an organized Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare ---------- this role, you will provide psychiatry staff administrative strong administrative support, assist the front desk in any other administrative duties including scanning and uploading documents, confirming appointments, and reviewing clinicians’ schedules, updating and filing patient medical records, and or any patient correspondence.

Qualifications:
Background in psychiatric care (i.e. nursing, physician assistant, etc)
Minimum 2 years working in mental health care
Bachelor’s degree minimum
Strong competency with technology use (i.e. gmail, zoom, EHR systems)
Exceptional patient care skills
Strong knowledge and adherence to HIPAA standards
Passion and commitment to working with, educating, and mentoring a diverse student population
Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating active listening, communication, empathy and concern for others, and problem-solving capabilities
Highly organized and detail-oriented
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with New U Therapy Center and Family Services, Inc.

Required License: Registered Nurse

Pay:
$4-5/hr based on experience
Benefits:
Raise of pay if passed the 90-day probationary period plus an additional $10.00 per month for internet allowance assistance.
Additional $20.00 per month for health allowance plus 5-day vacation leave credits (not convertible to cash) if passed the annual evaluation.
