Ok so here is it, this is the role:

The video editor will be responsible for editing our YouTube videos to be highly engaging, and an extremely high quality.

Those videos will then be cut down for other channels.

You might prefer to edit in a cave and do your own thing, or you might want to be more involved and be part of the team, and more involved in what content we make and growing the channel. We’re open to either!

Here’s what you need to know:

We have two personal channels we are starting from scratch.

The purpose of the channels is to grow our personal brands, and point other social channels to it to build our list, and get leads.

There will be some set up at the start where you’ll work with Matt to establish the overall look & feel of our videos eg create the intro/outro of videos.

We have all the recording equipment, and can make any broll you want.

This is for you if:

????Experience in: Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop for thumbnails, and Adobe After Effects.
???? You’re someone who can come up with cool creative ideas, and execute on them.
????You have a proven track record of making YouTube content.
????You can work autonomously to create amazing video content (after some calibration period at the start, of course!)
????You’re happy to start smaller and take on more work as it grows.
????You can work to deadlines, and don’t need to be followed up.
????You will provide feedback on how to improve the content machine, and make your job easier!
????You want to work with people who actually understand marketing and video assets
????Bonus points if you have a proven track record in growing YouTube channels, have your own, or want to be involved in rapidly growing the channel


WARNING - This is not for you if:

? You just want to make basic, easy videos and not produce some of the best content out there (that’s ok, there are different editing jobs for you!)
? You’ve never ever edited YouTube content, and are unfamiliar with the platform.
? You’re new to editing, and would need us to train you up (this is a role we need someone experienced).
? You’re not very organised, and struggle to hit deadlines.
? You’re not looking for a long term role (we want someone who can work with us for a verrrrrrry long time)
